Smt Sneha Vivek, the Artistic Director of "Natyanjali" comes from a small town on the outskirts of Udupi, the rice bowl for fine arts and ancient hindu mythology. Smt Sneha started her training in Bharathanatyam at a very early age. Her first three years of training was under the guidance of Smt Mallika Kannan. She continued her training in the Pandanallur style of Bharathnatyam from the renowned Guru Vidwan Chandrashekar Navada. Guru Vidwan Chandrashekar Navada is the disciple of the "Karnataka Kala Thillaka" Sri Ullal, Mohan Kumar.

Smt Sneha has to her credit more than 250 dance recitals in India and innumerous competitive awards. She passed the Bharathnatyam dance exams conducted by the State government of Karnataka,India with flying colours. She has dedicated the last 25 years to Indian classical dance and enjoyed a decade of teaching experience in Bharathanatyam and folk dance. Smt Sneha has also received training in Yakshagana from Sri Prathish Kumar. Sri Prathish Kumar is a prominent Guru at the Yakashagana Kala Kendra, Udupi. He received his training from the legendary Dr. Shivarama Karanth.

Smt Sneha has imbibed from her mentors the best of Indian art, culture and aesthetics. With Guru Vidwan Chandrashekar Navada's blessings, Sneha started the Natyanjali school of dance at Rohnert Park,USA in 2005. She currently runs her dance school in Fremont,CA.
